I regret to say that I have felt this way for much of my life, although I am leaving that behind. It goes hand in hand with the mantra “I’ll never be enough.” I think a lot of this stems from my Christian upbringing, which tended to tell you that you would never be worthy of love. Or anything else for that matter. I’m still recovering from that.
